Annotated Bibliography This is my annotated bibliography. This page explains how I used the sources that I found for my report, and lists some related links.
McElveen, Greg. Personal Interview. 16 November, 2003. I interviewed my dad and he gave me useful information on my subject. He explained to me many of the exchanges involved in the NBA. His interpretation and info on the subject gave me a better insight on what I was writing about. This is a primary source.
Minkoff, Tony. http://www.nba416.com/salarycap.html. AOL.com, 2001. This page taught me about the salary cap. The salary cap is the exchange of money for players and some other complications. This relates to my topic of exchange. This is a secondary source.
Couldn't find out who wrote it. http://www.nba.com. MSN.com, Copyright 2003. This is the official site of the NBA. I used an faq from this site about the history of basketball. This site showed me a lot about the NBA and helps me because the NBA is where my topic takes place. This site had primary sources and secondary sources. I used the secondary sources in this site.
Hughes, Frank. http://espn.go.com/nba/columns/hughes/1401019.html. AOL.com, Copyright 2003. This site gave me another view on my subject. I used this to create a more diverse base for the page labeled Current Views. I also used a quote made from Frank Hughes. This is a primary source.
Couldn't find author of website. http://www.all-sports-posters.com/historyofbasketball.html. AOL.com. I used some pictures and info from this site. This site gave me the info I needed to help write Historical View. This is a secondary source.
Wooden, John and Carty, Jay. Coach Wooden One-on-One. Tyndale House Publishers, Inc., Wheaton, Illinois, 1996. I used this book as a source of info on John Wooden. I used this information in Historical View. This gives me introspective on the impact of basketball on the surrounding environment.
My mom and dad helped me correct my paper, telling me where to make the corrections.
