HERE IS HOW YOU CAN KNOW
BIBLICAL SALVATION I. ALL MEN ARE LOST! Rom. 3:23, Rom. 6:23, sin, wages-death, gift-eternal life. We have a sin nature which produces sins. We are sinners by nature and choice. Is. 53:6 "All we like sheep have gone astray: WE HAVE TURNED EVERY ONE TO HIS OWN WAY, and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all." This is the very heart of sin, produced by unbelief. Going our own way, being the god of our own lives, religious or not. Being self-centered instead of Christ-centered, being the owner, boss, controller, manager of our own life.. II. WE CANNOT SAVE OURSELVES. HEAVEN IS A FREE GIFT! Eph. 2:8-9, tells us that salvation is not of ourselves, and not of works. Salvation is by His grace, through faith alone in Christ alone. Good works, baptism, being 'religious,' attending church, will not save us. III. WE MUST BE BORN AGAIN! John 3:3. We have the wrong father, and belong to the wrong family, {Satan's). We are not by nature the children of God. Therefore, we must receive the Lord Jesus Christ and thus be born-again in order to become a child of God. When this happens, we are no longer slaves to self and Satan. John 1:12, "But as many as received him, to them gave he power TO BECOME the sons of God, even to them which believe on his name. IV. WE MUST BELIEVE ON JESUS FROM OUR HEART AS OUR PERSONAL LORD AND SAVIOUR! Rom. 10:9-10. We must confess Him with our mouth and believe that:
V. WE MUST CALL WITH CERTAINTY ON HIM TO BE OUR LORD AND SAVIOUR! Rom. 10:13. (We could call on Him to save us 100 times and remain lost, unless we believe that He saved us WHEN we called on Him. That is faith). "FOR WHOSOEVER SHALL CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD SHALL BE SAVED." (Rom. 10:13). Your part is to call believingly from the heart. His part is to save you. God loves you so much. Jesus died in bloody agony on the cross for you. Would He turn you down if you called on Him to save you? Of course not! You must be willing to give up your godhood, and let Him be not only your Saviour, but the God, the Lord of your life, no longer going your own way, but His way. He will live His life through you when you receive Him as your Lord and Saviour. If you now realize that you are LOST, a sinner, and want to be SAVED, pray this prayer, or one like it. VI. SALVATION IS CERTAIN! Rom. 10:13, John 3:36, 1John 5:13. Did you call the best you know how, believingly, from your heart, on the Lord Jesus Christ to save you? Did He save you, or did He lie? He had to do one or the other. He promised, and He can not lie! According to His word, which did He do? His word, as in Rom. 10:13, is His contract with you that He has saved you, if you believe that He did what you asked Him to do! John 3:36, "He that believeth on the Son hath (has) everlasting life...." What do you have right now, according to God's Word? How long will it last? Where would you go if you were to die right now, according to God's Word? If you know, not just by your feelings, but according to God's Word, that He has saved you, Please thank Him out loud right now for saving your soul! God wants you to KNOW that you are saved, "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may KNOW that ye have eternal life....(!)", 1 John 5:13. Who now owns you? Whose child are you? Who is the new God, Lord of your life, your new owner, manager, boss? "....ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price...(!)" I Cor. 6:19-20. His grace will enable you to faithfully obey and follow Him, as He lives His life through you. No one can live the Christian life but Jesus, and as you daily exercise faith in Him, He will live this new life of loving obedience and victory through you! "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all thing are become new." 2 Cor.5:17. If you are really saved, it will be a delight to you to respond in love and demonstrate that salvation from sin and Hell by obeying Jesus. He said, John 14:23, "....If a man love me, he will keep my words:.." If you are not willing to obey Him, you obviously are not saved, and Jesus Christ in not truly your Lord, your God. Thousands of "Christians" think that they are saved, yet continue to "go their own way," even if religious, and do their own thing, Jesus in not the focus of their life. Christians can sin, but Christians cannot continue habitually in sin. 1 John 3:6-9 God tells us to confess Christ before men, Luke 12:8-9; immediately be baptized to picture our salvation, Acts 2:41; attend church faithfully, Heb.10:25, 1Jn 3:14; to share Christ with the lost, Acts 1:8; read/study His Word, Ps. 119:11, 105, 2 Tim. 2:15; as it is our daily spiritual food! We are to pray without ceasing, I Thes: 5:17; and confess and forsake sin instantly. 1 Jn 1:9. Most importantly we must "Walk in the Spirit and ye shall not fulfill the lusts of the flesh". Let Jesus, who now dwells in you, control you daily and live His life through you! Read the gospel of John, then 1 John, then the New Testament, and the whole Bible. If you love Jesus, these expressions of your love for Him will bring glory to Jesus, and growth and great joy to you. For those who begin the Christian life and then quit, obedience is an intolerable burden, a legalistic strait-jacket, and most of them eventually drop out. 1 John 2:19, explains why. But, dear friend, we are neither saved by works, or kept saved by works. Jesus saves us by His grace, and keeps us by His grace, but grace and faith express themselves in loving obedience, as truly, "...faith without works is dead." James 2:20. "But beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak." Welcome to the family of God. Jesus loves you, and we love you!

SOME REASONS FOR THIS TRACT. 1. According to Billy Graham, about 70% of the "Christians" in our churches are not saved. Something like 80% of those who make decisions for salvation in his meetings are church members. Half the membership of the average church seldom if ever attends church. Some are depending on a decision which did not change their life. They are neither following or obeying Jesus Christ, but still are deceived into thinking they are going to heaven. Here are some possible reasons: They have never been LOST. Only lost people who are convicted by the Holy Spirit and the Word of God that they are lost, can be saved. Christ died for the UNGODLY, to make them GODLY, when they turn in repentance and faith to Him. 2. They want Christ as Saviour, but not as Lord, wanting to be saved from Hell but continue to "go their own way." They want the Pardon, but not the Person! This is futile and fatal, as Jesus said, "..Why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?" 3. Many depend on a head instead of a heart knowledge of Jesus. They believe all the facts, but have never committed themselves completely to Him. 4. Some call on Jesus, but never know for sure based on the WORD OF GOD, that He has saved them. 5. Some try to help Jesus save them by baptism, good works, church attendance, being decent, good, helping others, etc. 6. Some depend on emotions, feelings, being religious. 7. Many think they are good enough just the way they are. They have never, "done anything really bad, or harmed anyone," etc. not realizing they are just one heartbeat from Hell. 8. Some say that there are hypocrites in church...true...and everywhere else. God said there would be hypocrites in the church. If there were none, the Bible would not be true! God will take care of that in due time. Don't join them by such foolish excuses. 9. Some believe the Bible selectively, or not at all. 10. Many really get saved, but live the Christian life under law, not grace. They haven't learned to walk by faith. They try legalistically to obey in the "energy of the flesh," instead of " ..Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh." Gal. 5:16. No true Christian does this all the time, but many Christians stumble along this way much of the time. 11. Many don't realize the tremendous danger any moment of plunging into an awful, eternal Hell! 12. Many love their sins more than they love Jesus, or they want Jesus and their sins! Many, even professing Christians, want their Heaven here. God will let them make that choice, but they cannot choose the consequences. 
THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN THE WORLD TO KNOW IS WHETHER OR NOT YOU WILL SPEND ETERNITY IN HEAVEN OR HELL! ONLY THEN CAN YOU HAVE PEACE, PURPOSE AND JOY HERE AND HEREAFTER. EVERY MOMENT, YOU ARE ONE HEARTBEAT, ONE BREATH, AWAY FROM YOUR ETERNAL DESTINY! NOTHING IN LIFE IS SO IMPORTANT, SO URGENT, SO VITAL. YOUR PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS CHRIST WILL DETERMINE YOUR DELIGHT HERE, AND YOUR DESTINY HEREAFTER. GOD LOVES YOU, BUT IT IS YOUR CHOICE, HEAVEN OR HELL! WHICH DO YOU CHOOSE?
