Virginia's Big Bass

Howdy!  Yeserie . . . This was one fish story.  Mac and Virginia were fishing on their favorite lake and just drifting along when Virginia got hung up on the bottom. She jerked the pole to get loose when the bottom started pulling back. She screamed as only she can and yelled at Mac that it was a fish!  The fish was yanking so hard she begged Mac to take the pole.  He laughed and refused, so there Virginia was being pulled all the lake with this big fish.  All of a sudden the fish came swimming hard at the boat and jumped clear out of the water.  Virginia screamed again!  It was the biggest bass she had ever seen. Mac even got the shivers.  He had fished years in search of a big bass and had never hooked one this size. The bass began diving frantically to get away, going around and around and under the boat.  Virginia did not have heavy line.  She again implored Mac to take the pole.  She did not have to ask twice this time.  He began fighting the bass and using all of the skills he had learned over the years in the Deep South when bass fishing and in Alaska from salmon fishing. Finally he and Virginia were able to get the big bass into the boat. Both were excited and exhausted. The bass weighed over 12 lbs! Mac and Virginia have been used by the Lord to bring in many "fish" and the Lord gave them this beautiful reward. What a team.
